Guns & Revolvers ...

Had a pleasure of spending a day with this gentleman last week. Duff McKagan from Guns and Roses and Velvet Revolver. What more can I say other than I shouldn't have to say anything else :) What a fantastic day.

The new Pat McManus Band T-Shirt

The new official T-Shirt for the Pat McManus Band available to buy now. This is one of my favorite photographs taken to date of Pat McManus in full swing (160/s f5 @ 3200 ISO). I took this photograph in the TLT Theatre in Drogheda recently when Pat and the boys were joined by Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash and Henry McCullough of Paul McCartneys Wings. Pat and the boys are just back from opening for the Beach Boys in front of a crowd of 10,000 in Corsica

And Just a heads up ... the PMB are playing in the Sugar Club in Dublin on the 13th Aug. Bring it on :)

Recent article in Travelsquire

Very flattering to see American online travel magazine 'Travelsquire' commenting on my work.

Landscape photography is something I do to blow off steam, decompress. It's wonderful to just ramble with no particular destination, no objective, no distractions. There are some days when I'm so critical of my work that nothing is kept, and then there are some days when everything comes together. The light, the timing, the angles and compositions. So for all of those images that are kept, there's always a story to tell about how they were taken. Link below.

Henry McCullough & Andy Powell ...

Henry McCullough ... What can I say about this man! The only Irishman to play Woodstock in 1969 when he played lead guitar for Joe Cocker. Remember the wonderful live version of 'With a little help from my friends' at Woodstock? ... well that was Henry. Henry also played with Sir Paul McCartney and 'Wings' for two years and played lead guitar for that classic song 'Live and Let die' and 'My Love'. Henry has an entire legacy of music behind him and he still has so much more to offer. Oh yes... and remember that classic line on Pink Floyds 'Money' on Dark Side of the Moon, "I dont know, I was really drunk at the time" ... Yep, that was Henry too :)

Andy Powell, best known as a founding member of British rock band Wishbone Ash. Wishbone Ash are considered to be one of the major innovators of the harmony twin lead guitar format. Their contributions helped in Powell and Bassist Martin Turner being voted "Two Of The Ten Most Important Guitarists In Rock History" (Traffic magazine).

Thank you so much Henry and Andy. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and spending time with you both.
