Henry McCullough ... What can I say about this man! The only Irishman to play Woodstock in 1969 when he played lead guitar for Joe Cocker. Remember the wonderful live version of 'With a little help from my friends' at Woodstock? ... well that was Henry. Henry also played with Sir Paul McCartney and 'Wings' for two years and played lead guitar for that classic song 'Live and Let die' and 'My Love'. Henry has an entire legacy of music behind him and he still has so much more to offer. Oh yes... and remember that classic line on Pink Floyds 'Money' on Dark Side of the Moon, "I dont know, I was really drunk at the time" ... Yep, that was Henry too :)
Andy Powell, best known as a founding member of British rock band Wishbone Ash. Wishbone Ash are considered to be one of the major innovators of the harmony twin lead guitar format. Their contributions helped in Powell and Bassist Martin Turner being voted "Two Of The Ten Most Important Guitarists In Rock History" (
Traffic magazine).
Thank you so much Henry and Andy. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and spending time with you both.
